Spring

Spring comes out again
like a painting
from the attic
that we eagerly scan
– here is a patch of pink
– how lifelike the leaves
– hold it out in the light
– more light please.

While I have linked this before, it is seasonally appropriate and includes my favorite cartoon brunette. Happy Springtime!

I found another French brunette. The last thing that I saw her in was Napoleon, produced in 2002. She played Napoleon’s mother and it was as natural as breathing for her.

It is frustrating to watch for me. I only have one semester of French and it was in second grade.

I have been putting effort into my understanding of written French. I can’t speak or follow it spoken. I do want to be able to read French. Since I retired, I have gotten better.

You just reminded me of a running gag from the movie Hunley, about a Confederate submarine. One of the crew was studying French, certain that it would help with the ladies. Gen. PGT Beauregard came to inspect and he tried it with him. He was commended for his effort and advised to to study more.
In the meanwhile, don’t volunteer to crew on any Confederate submarines. It is very hazardous.

Australia may not have the right climate for malamutes, but they are fun to watch,

It will be hard to top this French brunette.

Is there something absent now that was present in the sixties?

Something you don’t have to deal with in Australia. This is the first that I have seen of a moose interacting with humans. They are usually very shy.

Something different. An American blonde who can play guitar.

I don’t know what it is, I think that Youtube can’t help promoting animal videos. Last year it was koalas in the wake of the fires. Now it is moose. They are very gentle herbivores who are shy, but they do like apples.

A few weeks ago, I heard that the Haggia Sophia was going back to being a place of worship for the Muslims. Recently, this has been popping up every day. The Greeks want to take back Constantinople.

More from the American blonde. I did see a video of her playing in France. They liked her!

The Muse has to speak to you and I believe she is a French short haired brunette. This has to be the torchiest of torch songs ever cut. I hope that it works.

It’s French, but no short haired brunette. Still, it knocked my socks off. Strap in before watching.

I did say Muse earlier. How about a Greek diva singing opera in French that takes place in Spain? Does that cover enough countries?

The moose videos won’t stop. Could there be some confusion between Muse and moose? They are not as cute as koalas, but they are well behaved and come with psychological air conditioning.
