Pet Garden

She planted lavender, and bees
fell upon it like a sunshower;
and shrubs for dappled shade;
and let crazy daisies grow.

Creatures of innocence came
to the garden in their last hour,
tasting grass one more time,
or pouncing on a final moving
flower.

    I like the thought of bees being productive and happy.

        I have huge black bees that hang out by my back door in spring. They don’t live here, but my lawn is going gradually from grass to clover. Thankfully, they are not aggressive.

    I think we need a little more from my new found french Muse to inspire you.

    At first, I only linked her because she is cute. She is surprisingly talented. I have to wonder what it would be like if she shared the stage with Frank Sinatra?
