None are fat. All have long, long hair, which they unfortunately put in unbecoming styles. Hate those big, stupid-looking hats. Parasols much more attractive if really worried about the sun.

I like the way they put their hair up.

Yes, but you like short hair on a woman, correct?

Yes. I strongly prefer it. In fact it dawned on me that part of the reason I like the look of these Edwardian females is that they mostly put their hair up.

While this elegance was supported by the disparity between rich and poor, I think that it came to an end with the bloodletting in the Great War.

“elegant” that’s the word I was looking for to describe their looks to my teenage daughter. Dangnabbit, I hate getting old.
Thanks.

The older we get, the more we have to remember. That does put us at a disadvantage.

I wonder if sometimes it wouldn’t be nice to just dump all the frivolous memories like some Johnny Mnemonic character and keep all the good stuff.
The mayber I wouldn’t sperg out so much over past events.

The women in the top and bottom photo are very attractive. Any idea who they are?

No. Google Image might help find out.
In general, the clothing and hairdos of the time flattered the feminine form.

They have a calm, feminine appearance. They seem composed.
I have commented before on how much more content women once looked.
