That ‘aboriginal’ girl has a lot of European admixture. The man looks to be far from full blooded either, possibly having some Mediterranean ancestors

They are recognisable Aboriginal types. They may have some white or other admixture, which is fairly common in central Australia and in the southern areas. Also, skin colour is probably a bit lighter in the south.
I shall have another look at the article. They certainly identify with Aboriginal culture and with particular tribes.

They are encouraging photos. The joy of expectant parenthood. Many Aboriginals live in appalling conditions, just as bad as the situation Jesus came into. But He was welcomed with joy too.
