My mother told me to never get drunk with sailors. I think that they gave her a hard time as a volunteer in WWII and would never forgive them. That was one of the few promises I kept.

I love pale-skinned brunettes. But so many girls ruin themselves with tattoos. I nurse the faint hope that the tattoos may not be real.

  3. I have to wonder what the face looks like under the pancake makeup–I am reminded of a Dave Barry quip, “If you can put a straight pin more than a quarter inch into your face without feeling anything, you might be wearing too much makeup for the business environment.”

I get the sad feeling that this is a very disturbed woman.

    • Tatts to the extent that this woman exhibits are a good sign of being ‘disturbed’ — they are almost like a sign that reads, “Keep Away”, or “Do Not Approach”.

An incredible number of models, attractive girls, have tattoos. I have wondered if they are fake or photoshopped but probably not. And they are extensive.

For females, tattoos = mental illness. Direct correlation between the amount of ink and the amount of crazy.

I nurse a faint hope that some of these tattoos are fake (temporary). There is a Facebook page with dozens of fashion shots and every girl has large tattoos. It mystifies me.

This is rapid social change. When I was a boy, only sailors had tattoos. It seems young women have taken on bad masculine traits (tattoos, smoking) these days.

I never really thought about it very deeply in that manner before, but women DEFINITELY have exhibited the more negative traits of young men for the last thirty to forty years. There possibly could be a connection to this, and how these same young women completely ignore responsible, honorable young men in favor of the “edgy”, “exciting” ‘Bad Boys’ and thugs who exhibit those same negative traits.
In a nutshell — the women who have tattoos (especially to the amount that the young woman in the picture has) are essentially ‘advertising’ that the only men that they’re interested in (and want) are the ‘Bad Boys’, thugs, and criminals.
Of course, when these same women reach their thirties, their tattoos are a “WARNING” sign to any responsible man that here is a female who is likely a divorced or single mother with some thug’s spawn, who spent her youth being a ‘free whore’ for the “romantic”, “exciting” Bad Boys, and ignoring/rejecting men like him.

Yes. I am wary of implying that women follow men all the time, but they do a lot of the time (they basically live in an environment created by men – even down to quite literally the clothes on their backs.) So, yes, it is possible that smoking and drinking and getting tattoos are an attempt by some young women to identify with the most “edgy” boys.

(I once read a book of dating advice for women, and one suggestion was to dress like and adopt the ideas and mannerisms of the man you were interested in.)
