A woman who can change tires in a bikini. Oh yeah…total unicorn. 🙂

I think the fashion photographer is aiming for the “girl looking cute doing a man’s job” trope. That pretty little thing won’t be changing any tyres in real life.

Fashion photographers are more than a little weird. This is jarring because it has no application in real life.

It’s from a lingerie shoot. A Swiss one. Fashion photography is at least one of the minor visual arts. It is, after all, about presenting women in their most beguiling aspect.

As artists of sorts they attempt to capture the interest of viewers and readers. A picture like this which seems slightly surreal achieves that.

I am interested in fashion photography. It sometimes inspires me. If I could capture womanhood in a visual way, I would. I write poems because that is the best I can do.

Women’s magazines are often full of progressive bs these days but the images remain beautiful. I bought one recently because of a stunningly beautiful girl on the cover. And in the hope of finding more lovely and interesting images inside.

There is a touch of Guy Bourdin about the above shot. He took many bizarre photos for French Vogue if I recall.
