Anti-feminist man retains seat in UK parliament

HuffPo has a good old sniffle:

“Election Results 2017: Everyone Is Disappointed Anti-Feminist Philip Davies Has Won Shipley”

(Well, presumably not the people that voted for him.)

Yes, but his nemesis, Jess Phillips, kept her seat too. I admire Philip Davies. He is the only one in the whole world, that I know of , that is actively arguing against feminism. The best argument, that I can think of, is to wonder how they begin to represent the needs of all their male constituents. That would be half of them. Sadly, no one used it and they are stuck with all the feminists for another five years.

I just saw that. There is something to add. The head of the Women’s Equality Party, Sophie Walker, received fewer votes than the Monster Raving Loony Party candidate.
