I glanced at this article. It helps explain why men might give up and live with a robot girl. She crows about how feminists have made women less attractive and then complains that men find real women less attractive. She even boasts that feminists have told men we aren’t needed. She says that women aren’t made for men (they are actually and the sooner they remember it, the better) and then complains that men are no longer interested in them.

Well said, Julian. More men need to come out and proclaim the hideousness of feminism. It will remain the prevailing ideology unless men condemn it on the grounds of its extreme ugliness.

The woman who wrote this article is a very lonely person. What man would want to be with a “woman” who says:
“But as we’ve worked to disentangle ourselves from marriages within which rape is legal…”
But we should thank feminist for this much. They make visible the “enemy inside the gates.”

I don’t know about all that – but the sex robot future sounds like a hideous dystopian combination of golems and succubi with living male partners.
There are plenty of mythical and fictional imaginings of this idea. The earliest and in many ways the best is the Pygmalion myth.

Got a request … could you please not link to Feminist sites like you did ? Actually took your link to read what it had to say and couldn’t make it past the first few paragraphs … YUCK !!! I only glanced at the site myself.
I actually think women like that (and the nuts at HuffPo and Salon) are doing men a real service in showing us what’s out there and what to avoid.

At no point does the author even consider this phenomenon at all arising out of misandry. Which is of course a feminist ignorance. A humanist POV would at least consider, or even suggest this – in addition to the very real problem of abuse and objectification of women (not to mention the same, arguably to a lesser but no less relevant extent, toward men by women and other men).
Also, if not one lesbian, ever, bought and used one of these robots I would be surprised.

They should not assume that men would not be interested. In quite large numbers. Men do think cold more than women, and they can become habituated to all sorts of sexual outlets:

That woman is truly mentally ill, in the clinical sense, I’m not just trying to insult her.
The true fear that women have re: sexbots is that men will completely ignore women once the sexbots provide a reasonably acceptable alternative. “Fuck off, bitch” will be the only verbal responses women will get from men at that point. Maybe a backhand for daring to approach him in the first place. Dogs will have more value/rights than women. It will be a paradise (though short-lived unless artificial wombs come along quicker than expected).

I am not sure about “paradise” but all the news, including technical, ran in the feminists’ way for years. But this trend is not inevitable. Men no longer need to work in an unfair system. Their options are growing.
I see signs of real pushback of late. Social media have helped men and friendly women respond to mainstream feminist propaganda.
The most remarkable result in the Western world has been Hillary’s humiliation. I have little doubt that her feminist campaign resulted in a backlash.
