The Stepford Wives blog is still active

The Stepford Wives Blog is still there. As I have said before, I am not sure how seriously to take it. But it seems to be basically genuine, with the occasional “tongue in cheek” moment. Here is their delighted response to President Trump’s recent victory:

Stepford Is Back: The Beginning Of A Trump Era

“Thinking back to that golden decade of the 1950s, America was great when us women kept silent, kept the home clean and sparkling, and let our men take the lead. We maintain the domestic life but were always there to support our men with optimism, commitment, and religious devotion.”

“We will … return to that golden age where women answer to the Stepford edict; to look fresh, beautiful, chaste, obedient, and attractive, while our men do all the talking.”

This appears to be an associated profile of a woman based in Hawaii:

” We are a group of highly educated and intelligent women who believe strongly in serving our husbands. This was started to share ideas and discussion. We give thanks to our feminist sisters who fought hard for us to be afforded with the choice. We believe our husbands are truly Head of House and they alone have the right and duty to discipline us as only they see fit. It is never our place to emasculate them or disparage them in any way. It our duty to serve them and to see to their happiness.”

Ok so really then you’re fake. It’s just some kind of game. lol. Feminists didn’t win you anything sweetheart. Men ALLOWED you to have it which they can take away anytime they feel like it. They just have to collectively get the balls to do it again.

Yes.I saw that. I think it is just their way of deflecting criticism and turning the tables on feminists.

I don’t think it is a fake site. They seem too consistent. There are things that sound a little bit “tongue in cheek”. But there is a lot that sounds like genuine advice.

If it is a fake site, I don’t see the point.

You are quite right about women’s rights and the vote. Men gave them to women. If men wanted to take them back, we could.

Here is an article of some relevance. Progressives forget that trends can reverse and pendulums swing.

On one hand you’d think it would be more than 36% (important decisions should be done my the husband) since this egalitarian BS has proven so disastrous. But then again the brainwashing is so constant and omnipresent it’s amazing anyone gets it at all. But some are recognizing what’s going on thanks to the internet. The word is getting out JO.

The feminist movement has always been mostly an elite movement and a media movement. I am not saying that working class men and women have not been affected by it, often negatively, but it has mostly been a plaything of a relatively small number of people. (I know a lot of female writers on Facebook, and they have taken Trump’s win very, very hard. I don’t think they realised that most people do not think like them.)

Also, frankly, male dominance in marriage is “hot”. Whatever women say, they often prefer to have a “lord and master” in the home rather than a neutered counterpart.
