It is interesting that the Russian conservatives feel that Trump is a good thing.

    Russia does have a problem with their birthrate. It is well below replacement. Perhaps, addressing national and individual pride will improve things.

      I think that is what Putin probably has in mind.

      Russia also has a massive problem with alcoholism among men.

        If I remember correctly half of the liquor produced in the world is consumed there. That is a staggering thought. They only have a population of 144 million.

        Well, there are some excuses. It is terribly cold in winter there. But yes, they are exceptionally heavy drinkers.

    Watching this has cheered me up no end. It is bliss watching an effete liberal western reporter literally fraying at the edges as he hears his cherished leftrights being so robustly demolished.

      They really seem dense at times. The poor sap simply can’t understand how anyone could be against “women’s rights such as abortion”. The interviewer clearly thinks all this has already been decided. It’s partly that Americocentrism: Roe vs Wade is somehow supposed to apply forever and all over the world.
