Typical stagecraft of women cf. Maria McKee

At my previous blog post, I mentioned the energetic stagecraft, especially dancing around, that Maria McKee used in her singing performances. Her movements were less typically feminine than those in the video below, which are the typical sideways movements women use, which seem to be flirtatious and show off their hips and waists. There is a movement that women sometimes do when they pose, a kind of cocking of the hips to one or the other side, which is also seen here.
