She blooms

She blooms in pink
and white camellias
and adds poppies
to the spray
and tosses her hair
in the sun and wind
in memory on this
darkened day.

    This is a happy thought. What makes it happier for me is that girl bears can do this too.

    Reminds me of a line from a Mudvaine song, “In the space between a blink and a tear, death blooms”
