At my last post, I provided the following haiku:

bikini beach …

the phases

of the moon

The essence of haiku is a certain vagueness and suggestiveness. A haiku is not really just a short poem. It is meant to allow the reader to imagine broader and subtler associations in his own mind.

However, the following picture (her jacket) inspired me to write about the phases of the moon. I am sure the reason is obvious enough.
