or the faces of the moon
or being mooned by hot chicks in thong bikinis. You can hear it calling out to you as they go by saying, “spank me!”

I enjoyed the subtlety of your text, but if you will allow me to modify your poem with a bit of poetic license, I would change it thusly:
(oh) the faces
on the moons
I get a small chuckle from that, though maybe you were aiming for a different implication.
