Submissive body language

A couple of bloggers (male and female) in the Manosphere have recently raised the matter of good submissive body language for fiancees and wives.

I have written quite a bit on body language previously so I shall just add a couple of points:

Men should not propose on their knees.

A woman who wishes to show respect for her fiancee or husband can learn to curtsy.

Of course, a natural, traditional,  daily expression of feminine submissiveness is to have the man seated at the head of the table during meals.

“Men should not propose on their knees.”

Definitely. I’ve always found that practice to be eye-rolling. It;s like you’re in the subordinate position begging the Great Queen to enslave you.

The other thoughts you posted are top notch as well. Although I would add that wives say, “yes sir” when they are given an order.

Some women do call their husbands Sir. However one has to use what is culturally appropriate (that said, at a time when women have become so patently contemptuous of men in general, wives might be expected to try a little harder than usual to show respect.)

Really nothing is off the table any more. Women threw out the old rule book. They might be surprised at some of the new rules.

I hope to get an anonymous guest post from a woman soon on submissive body language for wives.

No problem. As I said in a recent comment, I am hoping to get an anonymous guest post from a female on submissive body language soon.

  3. I’m sure some will find it helpful, but it’s a different topic. Submissive body language is a sort of Girl Game and has its place. Sure, go nuts. Kneeling, though, is unequivocal.

I have seen a range of things, some not for revealing. In terms of the range, kneeling is certainly at the hard end. I would say all the following are possible for a woman who wants to show she knows her place (in ascending order of submissiveness):

      – seating the man at the head of the table and serving him meals

      – sitting on his lap

      – sitting at his feet

      – curtsying to him

      – kneeling to him

      – being spanked

      – others …

There was a famous female blogger who once suggested keeping eyes lowered.

Some women reading might take offence at this whole discussion but after 50 Shades I think we can all stop pretending …

“Some women reading might take offence at this whole discussion but after 50 Shades I think we can all stop pretending …”

Yeah, seriously. I think it sold something like 175 million copies? Sometimes the ones that protest the most are the ones who, deep down, crave it the most but are just too embarrassed to admit it.

  4. I see Mrsktc’s blog is now “protected”. My proximity seems to have that effect on female’s blogs.

One reason she proposed to me was because I was NOT as she put it “a tender flower,” but a masculine male. She wanted a husband she could respect and submit to.
