Reclining Nude by Edward Hopper

Although he is most famous for his depictions of modern urban and rural ennui, Edward Hopper had an eye for the female form. Like many artists he married an attractive woman and her form appears in some of his paintings. It is likely that this watercolour was of her, and it certainly shows his interest and skill in depicting women:
