Some of the most interesting sociological theorising is being done by amateurs today. For example there is this:
Be that as it may I was pleased to see this statement in relation to the current female fashion for extensive tattoos:
“Why? Why would women — particularly White women whose alabaster skin is a bucket of boner bait no other race of women can simulate — deliberately uglify themselves?”
Why indeed?
As for alabaster skin, I have often remarked on how beautiful it is.
