twirling her stem

… standing in the pew at the Latin Mass
fumbling and thumbing my missal …
it’s such a distraction when the nubile lass
just in front adjusts her skirt, twisting and
bobbing as if God is twirling her stem
like a pretty flower in His hand …

  1. Nice imagery, the skirted woman as a stem and flower. Also, Whatever happened to the men’s side and women’s side of church? http://www.traditionalcatholicpriest.com/2014/09/20/men-and-women-sit-on-different-sides-of-the-catholic-church/

Thanks. This was meant mainly as a joke.

I don’t know much about men and women on different sides of the church. It is not in the New Testament like veiling for example.
