Why French women are happier?

There is a crassness about the intimate style of women in the Anglosphere, for example in America. I have been trying to improve my French, and one approach has been to read French language Facebook sites. One of these is Cervin Paris, which makes lingerie for women. It is not hard to see that we are in more tasteful, elegant and feminine territory than in the case of, say, Victoria’s Secret.

To a masculine eye, a lot of what women are supposed to wear to appeal to men in places like America is just gross (sexy, but gross). Whereas the French garments seem to retain a certain charm and feminine dignity.

It’s true. The French really are stylish.

  2. Quality, my dear Julian, speaks volumes. Those stockings probably cost what a cheesy American nightie does. And most of us don’t have legs that rate them.

But you’ve heard my rants about clothing quality a time or two I think… :p
