Quirky fashion photographer Willy Vanderperre

I have touched on a few photographers of women, including fashion photographers, on this blog before. I tend to like those with an individual, quirky style, such as Guy Bourdin, or those who capture intimate scenes of femininity like Jean-Francois Jonvelle.

Here is a Guy Bourdin:

Here is a Jonvelle:

A fashion photographer who is new to me is Willy Vanderperre. He is not as downright weird as Bourdin was, nor as luxuriant as Jonvelle, but I like his style.

A photo he took of model Arizona Muse, whom I have featured previously at this blog:

More of his work:

Another one. He seems to like depicting women in horizontal positions.

Another one of his, “Mirte Maas by Willy Vanderperre for Vogue China October 2010”:

Fashion photography is one of the few artistic areas that seems to allow one to make a living.
