A Brief Internet Guide to Pervy Weirdos

Here are a couple of comments I made recently at SunshineMary’s place, on this thread. I have provided links for the curious:

“The guy quoted by Martel is Subservient Husband (To a Loving Wife). His blog has gone quiet lately. He claims to be married to a sexy Latina, and his own English is not idiomatic, which makes me think he might be Latino himself. He does not have much normal sex with his little honey because he is locked up in a CB-4000 [a chastity device].

There is another blog, Worshipping Your Wife, which is of interest. See the discussion (Part 1 and Part 2 and more here) on men taking their wives’ surnames. Femdom 101 is another, which has the wife literally keeping her husband in the doghouse. Sometimes. Literally.

It is always hard to separate fantasy from reality and we could be talking about a minor fetish. However masochistic men are not rare. I actually suspect that male feminists like Manboobz may be sexual masochists and perverts.”

“Cuckolding is the natural progression from wife-led marriage. And I suspect divorce often follows.

Some of this is just the male propensity to sexualise his life situation. A weak man who marries a slut and will be cuckolded anyway might feel he might as well enjoy it. That, and alimony payments, which can be sexualised as the financial servitude fetish, must mean that the Western sexual landscape is a paradise for male masochists. Sacher-Masoch would feel at home.”

“lauratheringmistress is correct. Subservient Husband (To A Loving Wife) and his ilk are rare. Some men get off on female domination. Many of them cannot get an attractive woman to dominate them, unless they pay her (there is a chap called Sissy Maid Diane who is getting married as a bride in white to a dominatrix, but it is all in his head and I think he pays her to “dominate” him.)

The locus classicus for this kind of male masochism is Venus in Furs by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, who was a wealthy man who was able (I think) to more-or-less force his dependent wife Wanda into dominating him. I have only just started dipping into his book, but it is all there. In the same way as one could find the ancestor of Fifty Shades of Grey in The Story of O, and back beyond that in Justine by the Marquis de Sade.

You will notice that the amount of submissiveness that Subservient Husband is able to display to his wife is fairly limited. She dislikes him wearing feminine clothes. I sometimes think he is a rather absurd Pepi LePew type of old world Latin lover, who has taken worshipping his Lady to extremes.

There are probably some women who really do want a househusband, very ambitious career women, but very few would want a man who dresses up as a housewife and so on. There was one man who claimed to be in this relationship, with his wife as a successful lawyer. But his blog went quiet. They often do. Supposedly she banned him from further blogging.

There are also cuckold fetishists, and men who like being denied sex. Some men (I suspect Subservient Husband is a good example) seem to enjoy the feeling of sexual frustration and tension more than the release. Constant sexual frustration is pleasurable for them, and I think too that thinking about sex all day solves the existential problem for some people, in the way that others take to religious obsessions or drink or drugs or video games or feminism.

My guess would be that there are not enough men willing to play second fiddle to career women, and also not enough women willing to be outright dominatrixes for male masochists. But maybe some enterprising soul should set up a dating service: male masochists to meet with ballbusting career women, view matrimony.

BTW, these people are just people; some are nice, some are nasty. I had my hair cut by a young transvestite recently. He was nice. Subservient Husband tends to be grumpy and peevish. Sissy Maid Diane is a nice guy.”

[Addendum. The Moon must be in Scorpio or something. It is weirdo observation time. Alpha is Assumed has blogged on one of the guys above.]

AND the always interesting Steve Sailer has written recently on transsexuals of various kinds and the often vicious politics involving male to female transgendered people. This is Lynn Conway, noted computer scientist, strident activist and, originally, a man:

An interesting article by Alice Dreger on the controversy over the book The Man Who Would Be Queen: The Science of Gender-Bending and Transsexualism by J Michael Bailey.

AND LATER STILL, Steve Sailer delivers again, with the story of a female carmaker of the 1970s (“Elizabeth Carmichael”, below) who turned out to have originally been a man. But it is hardly surprising. I mean, does any woman ever stand like this? (At least Lynn Conway learned how to sit like a lady – see her sit with her legs poised “just so” above for comparison.)

“Worshipping Your Wife” has a new post up, with this gem:

“…of course, i also maximize the money the men spend at the store. i make no apology for this. In fact, i’m always looking for ways to max out a guy’s credit card or empty his wallet; the woman in his life deserves nothing less …”

Here is what I wrote on Facebook about the transvestite guy who cut my hair recently:

“On the way back from […], I decided to get a much-needed haircut. I was kind of hoping not to get one of the more “flamboyant” males at the salon. Fate played a trick on me, and I got something new. A transvestite.

When he invited me to have my hair rinsed, I thought, nice-looking girl, but why such a deep voice? Not a contralto, but a real young man’s voice. Then one of the female staff called him “[a man’s name]”. We got talking as he cut my hair and he volunteered that he “dressed very femininely”. Yes, I suppose a skirt, leggings, long hair and make-up are a bit feminine.

His voice gave him away, but he was not trying to present as a woman, but as a man who dresses very femininely. Interesting.

He seemed a nice young man, and I would love to ask him some questions. But good manners takes precedence.”

    • I do believe you met a genderqueer man. There are all sorts of different labels for folks these days but someone that is genderqueer is a “gender bender”, I suppose is the easiest way to put it. They aren’t trans in that they are not attempting to switch genders, they are simply choosing to be X sex with X gender’s traits. He could even be hetero, in all honesty.

“Many genderqueer people see gender and sex as separable aspects of a person and sometimes identify as a male woman, a female man, or a male/female/intersex genderqueer person.[8] Gender identity is defined as one’s internal sense of being a woman, man, both, or neither, while sexual identity refers to an individual’s enduring physical, romantic, and/or emotional attraction to others.[7] As such, genderqueer people may have a variety of sexual orientations, as with transgender and cisgender people.[9]”

  3. At my brother’s wedding in Berkeley (where else?), there was at least one young transvestite–maybe even transsexual–and suffice it to say that I was thinking “that girl has really got the uglies”, and then “she” talked. Ugh, and ewwwww…. Maybe I’m a Neanderthal here, but I’ve got this crazy idea that people who engage the poop chute and get body parts lopped off and modified have something wrong with them.

    • The hairdresser made a good-looking girl. His voice gave him away, but he was using a male name and was not trying to “pass”.

Some transvestites look too masculine but many look like attractive women. Makeup and hormones perhaps. Some of the “shemales” achieve a very feminine look. It makes one wonder what is wrong with real women. Sometimes I think that men are even better than women at dressing up as women.

Good lord. Talk about emasculated. His balls didn’t shrink, they fell off.

I’m sick and tired of people telling me what’s normal what’s weird and making judgements about what I want to do in my private life. I dare you to say it to my face big man.
