  1. She’s still too gynocentric for me.

Yes, I wasn’t quite sure what she meant, but considering the source, I think she is saying that she feels happy in her kitchen.

I have a saying, “you can’t eat equality”. So what she is saying resonates with me. I seriously don’t get what women thought they were missing when they were safe at home as housewives. Even those women who felt that their creativity was being stifled probably went to work and found out that they were not very creative there either.

As for “gynocentric”, yes. But women are solipsistic and people in general respond to incentives. I suspect the WomenAgainstFeminism trend is driven largely by women, especially attractive young women, realising that feminism is starting to damage their preferred future.

This was a pretty good find. It is a little too gynocentric but at least she knows where she belongs.

  2. I’m thinking the woman is saying that what she does in the kitchen helps keep her husband around, who keeps her safe and warm at night.

Point well taken that we men need to start taking back fashion from many of the major fashion designers, though, as it seems far too many in that world either do not like women at all, or have absolutely no clue what looks good on a real woman.

And the lower right picture….pardon me if I’m wrong, but looks to me like a dude who is taking hormone therapy but hasn’t gotten the operation yet.

      • Pretty much my first thoughts. I think the clue is that he has/has to tell others (and I mean that in the questionably self-promotional way – he was re-tweeting peoples lauding of him, etc).

It should be about the science, not trying to score points. And yes, I am cynical enough to think he is preening. And he is senior enough that he can afford to make such gestures.

What a PC maggot, pathetic little beta-simp. When their are more men in something it’s “sexist” but if the genders are reversed suddenly it’s ok. I’m surrounded by hypocrites.

      • It’s interesting, really. I read a report (the name of which I’m forgetting, but I believe it was UN, or UN-sponsored) that stated that (for any country) when men are better of than women, it’s inequality, but when women are equal to, or better off than, men, it’s “equality.” They didn’t say it in those words, but the implication was plainly obvious so as to be almost more explicit than what I stated above.

There does seem to be an assumption that men have to be handicapped to allow women to catch up. I think some of the assumptions are – finally – being questioned though. This attack on feminism by attractive and educated young women in the #WomenAgainstFeminism movement is very encouraging. I am only surprised it has taken so long.

You’re quite the optimist Julian. And maybe you’re correct. We’ll have to see how this unfolds in the near future.

I’m rarely speechless, but some of the quotes from the article are incredible. I really wonder if a non-negligible part of the feminist movement is actually just intended as a joke.

I think a lot of foreigners, and maybe even Americans, don’t get the American propensity for moral extremism.

Also, women do go crazy without male guidance. Eve and the apple …

There is nothing wrong with Amanda Marcotte that a good spanking would not fix.

What does seem to be happening of late is that other women are getting tired of feminist nonsense. Maybe women too, feminist or not, are starting to notice that men have their uses, if only for protection and (Internet) provision.

“There is nothing wrong with Amanda Marcotte that a good spanking would not fix.”

I think I’d have to a agree. A real hard spanking. I guess her daddy didn’t discipline her enough as a child. When you don’t they grow up into spoiled little harpies like her.

I have a couple of theories about that. The one I’m leaning on at the moment is that these women are seeing more and more men just wanting nothing to do with them (especially marriage) and just might be beginning to realize that their gravy train is about to disappear so they’re getting scared. The dumb feminists are so narcissistic though they won’t even save themselves. They’d rather be miserable.

        Julian,

I also forgot to mention that many of them have so much legal power over men now that they see no threat in luring guys back onto the plantation without the worry of actually achieving “equality” (which as we know is a fantasy anyway).

I am beyond astounded at how effective censorship (in her favor) has been. Besides that, all mainstream media outlets have gone quiet on the story, as well as censored any and all comments on it.

Yes, I have been following that.

Yes, censored, and there are some strange stories floating around, but even I, here in Oz, have heard of it.

Also, JudgyBitch has tweeted on it and the Kotaku boss has apparently had to issue a statement.

Zoe Quinn looks OK in some photos but heavy in others. Nerds really are desperate. I was looking at old photos of my wife yesterday, and at a similar age, she was pretty and slim. Men tolerate awful looking young women these days.

When a dull man like that attempts irony, the message gets confused. But he should look in the mirror not the video screen and ask himself what he is really doing.

As for white knights, they have just been lied to about what women find attractive.

That is one of the most pathetic excuses for a “man” I’ve ever seen. What…a…PUSSY! You can only shake your head at this kind of little girl.

I have only watched the beginning. His problem is that he is taking sides with a girl over some video games.

He is a young man. This is the last thing he should be spending his time on.

Well he’s obviously EXTREMELY desperate for female approval.
