No. 2 in a Series: Intellectual Cuties

My first intellectual cutie was Helen Rittelmeyer, who has now deigned to join us here in Australia.

The second in this series is Catherine Pickstock, who not only wrote a really profound book on philosophical theology, “After Writing: On the Liturgical Consummation of Philosophy”, but is quite a cutie:

I once reviewed this book of hers under my real name, for a small theological journal:

  1. So intellectual cuties don’t have to be nekkid? ;)

    • I am sure she gets naked for her husband, if she has one. (I think she does.) That is enough.

You can tell they are intellectual, because they keep their clothes on.

Ha, I knew before I clicked the link that she’d have short hair.

    She is cute though.

I seriously hadn’t noticed that she had short hair. I suppose she does, although it is a bit hard to be sure.

The other thing I didn’t notice is that I think she may be pregnant, and those look like children’s drawings in the background.

I wrote a detailed review of her philosophical work a long time before I found out that she looked like that. Although she writes on very Catholic themes, I believe she is actually an Anglican, and I am told that, unfortunately, she believes in women priests.
